PROCEDURE FOR OPD CONSULTATION:

NEW PATIENTS

Patients diagnosed or suspected to be suffering from cancer and desiring to be seen at this Institute for the first time should report at the Reception Desk situated in the main Entrance Lobby of the Institute and express their desire to the Reception Staff for further advice. At times, there could be a crowd at the Reception Desk, hence they should maintain discipline and remain in the queue as patients ahead are also in need of a similar attention. Patients should also bring all the records of their previous investigations & treatment, if any; slides of biopsy/ any other surgical procedure, if carried out for review of the same and also details of treatment of associated ailments, if any. This shall help in expediting further management of the patient at this Institute. We strictly refrain from giving advice on the basis of reports only unaccompanied by the patient. Hence, it is advised that patient must be brought along with the previous reports etc. if any, for further advice and management accordingly.

ON REVISITS:

The patients should check at the Computerized Queue Counter.

PATIENT EQMS:

Fully computerized Patient Electronic Queue Management System – a unique Computer-based Token Issuing System for patients’ convenience.

Several new concepts and facilities have been established and planned for this Institute. Some of these facilities would be established for the first time in the country, while most of these facilities are being established for the first time in a hospital under the Govt. of NCT of Delhi.
